Guardian angels are the sentient beings who brought us forth into this world. They abide in our conscience. I hope to join them after I die to guard and guide my generation. Yes, I do believe in them.
In Genesis, Jacob (Israel) calls upon “HaMalach HaGoel Oti” (loosely, the angel that watches over me) — I always assumed that was what Christians call a Guardian Angel. When we die, not too soon, I hope, there is an angel who acts as our defense attorney, whereas the Sahtan is the prosecuting attorney.
