I am going to paint a red flower in a red pot outside my door as if I used real ones I would need to buy a new one every week...yep It's that kind of neighbourhood as well as the fact that flowers & plants have a tendency to die on me. I live in a mostly Jewish neighborhood where a large majority of front doors are painted red as a symbol of faith...but being of Irish descent myself...we paint our front doors red to keep ghosts out. Since most cultures have good reasons for painting a front door red...I don't see how anyone could go wrong with a red front door!
