If you don’t already have a deck of Tarot card’s then the first thing you need to do before we begin reading them is to buy your deck…right?
There are a huge amount of different deck’s available today that sometimes the choice can be overwhelming. I was lucky in that sense because I needn’t choose my most preferred deck, rather they chose me. Having been a collector of Tarot deck’s before I began reading them I knew which deck I would use as out of all nine deck’s I had there was one particular deck that I had an instant connection with as soon as I handled them.
The Rider-Waite deck would be my advice to anyone in learning Tarot reading because the pictures and symbols on each card are so easy to understand, especially for the beginner! But the choice of deck is entirely up to the individual so don’t take my word for it…go and look at a few different deck’s before buying and get a “feel” for each deck, the deck which “feel’s” right should be the deck you buy. Should you not get a “feel” from any deck’s which you look at then maybe take my advice and go for Rider-Waite deck as they really are the best deck from the symbollic point of view.
