For those that have visited “Tarot Talk” previously will see that all past posts have been deleted for the reasons stated below. Tarot Talk will now be based solely upon the conventional, standard & generally known history & methods of tarot reading. My own, more unconcentional way of tarot reading will now be found in a new 2nd blog ”Further Tarot Talk” very soon.
Today I Have Come To Realising…
When I first took it upon myself to apply for the role as author for a blog about tarot cards I did so because tarot is a way of life for me & in that sense the writing of a tarot blog would be a natural thing for me to do & so began my journey. It wasn’t untill this afternoon that I came to realise that my knowledge of all things tarot & my own personal method of reading the tarot were so contradictary that I now feel the need to split the two .So for that purpose I shall now be using this blog of Tarot Talk to write about my knowledge of the cards & how to give a general reading etc & begin a seperate , new blog about my more advanced, deeper method of tarot reading which should really only be undertaken once you know the tarot like the back of your hand & want to take it that one-step further.The main reason for my coming to this decision of needing two blogs came after I read all of my previous posts which I had at first written for Tarot Talk & realised how confusing they would sound to one who has no previous knowledge of the tarot cards. Unless you have had the cards for breakfast, lunch & dinner all of your life as I have then there would be far too much of a contrast between the general, known ways of tarot reading & my own more unconventional way which should come after you know the general, known methods & not before for a tarot newbie to understand.The reason that I hadn’t realised this in the first instance is due to my up-bringing… this being my only conclusion as I was brought-up on the tarot as a whole & untill today had never differentiated between the two. So, if your reason for reading my Tarot Talk blog is to learn as much as you can about the general meaning, the history of and the various spreads used in everyday reading of the tarot cards then you should remain here. If on the other hand however you already know everything there is to know about general, everyday tarot & wish to take tarot reading that much further…which isn’t for everyone, then my second blog will be the best place for you. I shall make a start on my ”Further Tarot Talk” blog as soon as I possibly can, if you are interested in this advanced tarot blog & wish to be sent an email letting you know when it’s ready then drop me a short message with your name & email address & I will be happy to oblige.
