Cat : Protecting Good Fortune
Feline deities have been protective forces across ancient cultures. They are often seen as guardians over women during the birth process.
The cat found on this amulet comes from a the Native American Calusa which was located in Florida. This cat carved from wood was found in a peat bog on Key Marco Island. She is about 1,100 years old.
Cat is the bearer of good fortune who reminds you to protect what you have gained. What you have gained from past trials is now in your power bundle, ready to aid you during future trials you may encounter.

I have been doing work recently learning about the Shaman Path and sought words of wisdom from the Amulets. This is what they had to tell me.
Where do I look to learn to live a more Shamanic life?
To walk the path of Ecstasy (Dancing Bird Goddess)
you must – Listen (Sow) to hear what is not being said
you must – See (Owl) through the darkness to what can’t be seen
you must – Look through your Inner Visions (Eyes)
and Trust (Whirlwinds) what cannot be seen

Whirlwinds - Trust the Invisible
Can you guide me to my Spirit Helper/Guardian?
Dolphin – playing, laughter, fun
Inanna – Journey to the Underworld
Spider – Discover my own creativity, look inside myself
Sprouting Seed – the process has been started, new beginnings
Laussel Goddess – Moon time, cycles, let the Spirit Guides come to you in their own time.

Inanna - Journey to the Underworld
Who will guide me as I journey to meet my Spirit Guides over time?
Night Star – Fulfillment
Universal energies are at my command.

After looking at an image and forming a mental connection, I asked the Amulets to show me what this person needs to hear right now. These were the amulets drawn using the “Council of Elders” lay out.
Ewe – self-worth
It’s time to toot your own horn and shout out about your own accomplishments, gifts, and talents. My feeling is that this amulet applies not to you directly, but to someone very close to you and it is having an effect on your own life.
Frog – speaking out
Speak up, speak out. Let your views be known. Your words, at the right time, have to power to transform your life.
Sheela-na-gig – honouring choices
She is telling you that it isn’t quite yet time to be making a decision. First step is to carefully look at each choice. Only when you fully feel comfortable will it be time to make a decision.
Every choice you have made in life has lead you to where you are today. Honour those choices.
Owl – wisdom in the darkness
While examining choices, it may seem that a way forward cannot be seen. Owl is here to guide you. Use all your senses, listen and see that which cannot be heard or seen with the ears and eyes. Listen to your intuition, and to your heart, and to your body. Owl will lead you to the answer. Trust your intuition and those little niggles in the back of your mind.
Nightstar – fulfilment
While you may not be able to see an end, it is coming and all will work out. The nightstar is telling you that the powers of the universe are yours to use at this time. Look to the stars for guidance through prayer and meditation. My feeling is that you need a bit of both prayer and meditation in your life at the moment. One is speaking to the Gods, the other is listening to their response.
Use prayer and meditation to discover your self-worth and give you the words you need to speak up at the time. Use prayer and meditation to gather your choices together and discover which is the right course for you. Use prayer and meditation as your guide through this time of darkness. Then, the anwers will come to you.

Nile River Goddess — Stand in triumph
Sow — root out and listen
Ewe — self-worth is everything
Triple Spiral – 3 courses of action ahead
Gorgon – transforming anger
The Nile River Goddess stands with strength and in success and triumph to tell you it is time to stand tall. Look at where you have come from and honour the progress you have made.
Sow says to listen carefully not only to what is being said around you, but to what isn’t being said, and to what you are telling yourself. Root out the negative messages and remove them.
Ewe tells you to look to what you have accomplished. You are allowing someone to take your self-worth and power away from you, and that needs to stop.
The Triple Spiral indicates 3 courses of action coming ahead for you. One will lead to the Gorgon and that way will be difficult. You will need to face your own anger and actively work on transforming that anger into something productive. But, if you take this path, you will emerge from the other side triumphant (Nile River Goddess) and a better person for it.

Eyes – all seeing, inner visions
Cow – partnerships
Sprouting Seeds – new start
Whirlwinds – change unseen
Owl – seeing in darkness
The Eyes are showing you new insights into a relationship. Your perception of your relationships with others is going to change. Avoid compulsive actions at the moment. Make sure what you are seeing is really there.
The Cow indicates partnership. This would indicate to me that your new insights are in regards to someone you have a closer relationship or a partnership with.
The Sprouting Seeds indicate that you are in a new and very tender situation at the moment, and need to work carefully. Remove that which isn’t needed, the weeds, but be careful not to lose the plant as well.
The Whirlwinds are telling you to trust what you cannot yet see. Detach yourself from the storms around you, and find the calm in your center-being.
The Owl provides wisdom in the darkness. She will guide you when you cannot see. Listen and watch, with your ears, your eyes and with your heart. Trust your intuition. Again, you are being cautioned to move slowly and carefully consider your actions and words. This isn’t a time for rash or compulsive reactions. It’s a time to consider carefully and trust through the stillness.
