Amulet Reading 4

Nile River Goddess — Stand in triumph

Sow — root out and listen

Ewe — self-worth is everything

Triple Spiral – 3 courses of action ahead

Gorgon – transforming anger

The Nile River Goddess stands with strength and in success and triumph to tell you it is time to stand tall. Look at where you have come from and honour the progress you have made.

Sow says to listen carefully not only to what is being said around you, but to what isn’t being said, and to what you are telling yourself. Root out the negative messages and remove them.

Ewe tells you to look to what you have accomplished. You are allowing someone to take your self-worth and power away from you, and that needs to stop.

The Triple Spiral indicates 3 courses of action coming ahead for you. One will lead to the Gorgon and that way will be difficult. You will need to face your own anger and actively work on transforming that anger into something productive. But, if you take this path, you will emerge from the other side triumphant (Nile River Goddess) and a better person for it.

Amulet of the Goddess Circle of Elders

Where am I heading a general reading

1. The first amulet drawn is the Hand with Seeds, a gentle reminder to accept responsibility for who I am and where I am in my life at the moment.
I have the seeds, the tools, I need to get where I want to be in life. In order for them to grow however, they must be planted and nurtured.

It’s time to start take the first steps.

2. Next in the council of elders is the Dancing Bird Goddess.

Rewards are coming. Dance the dance of ecstasy into your own life. Energies around you may be heightened (this is very true, they are). Channel this energy wisely.

The suggestion is to consult the animal amulets to find an animal guide to help me in determining how to channel this energy. Leading to the next amulet on the Council of Elders.

3. The Sow tells me that to find how to channel this energy I need to listen. Dig down, root around, and really listen. Listen actively to what is being said, and listen with my psychic ear to what is not being said.

Find words that reflect my intention. Listen to my own language and how I use words to describe myself.

4. The fourth amulet on the Council of Elders is the Sprouting Seed. It’s a time of new beginnings.

Take the information I gain from listening and determine what it is that I am hearing which needs to be nurtured to continue growing, and what needs to be weeded from my life. Focus on becoming rooted and balanced within my life.

This could also be an indication that I am entering a new stage in my life. Signs of which are already becoming visible to me.

5. In the midst of all these serious new beginnings and nurturing new beginnings, the Dolphin reminds me to take the time to have fun, to celebrate, and to have fun. Dance, play, and laugh as you move through life.

Amulet of the Day – Sow

Listening

In some parts of the world during the early Neolithic period the Sow was revered as a Goddess. Her ability to fatten quickly and produce many offspring have strong fertility and harvest associations.

This particular image comes from a clay mask from Macedonia. It is around 6,500 years old.

The Sow amulet comes to tell you it is time to Listen, root around, get your nose into the ground and dig. Sometimes, the things we don’t want to hear hold the most healing power.

Open your inner ear and listen as well to what isn’t being said. If you’re feeling confused by “double messages” focusing on what hasn’t been spoken can help to clarify the situation.

If your mind has been clouded by words that cut you down, insult you, or block new growth it’s time to sort through the mess, stir up the dirt, and get to the truth  in the fertile soil underneath.

Listen carefully to your own language and how you use words to describe yourself. What are you hearing? What do other people hear you saying?
